we will begin discussing Baxter Kruger's book, Patmos. While it is a novel, Baxter teaches us much about the Trinity as seen in the books of John and Revelation and summarized in the Nicene Creed. We will learn to appreciate the gift given to us in this beautiful statement of faith and get a sense of the early church fathers' struggle to put into words an ineffable concept. Baxter does this while taking us on a fictional trip to the Isle of Patmos where he was transported back in time by the Holy Spirit to meet St. John. Come along for this exciting journey! If you have questions or are interested in joining or returning, please contact Maryann Schaffer at drmaryann1@gmail.com. All women are welcome to our informal group of seekers. Patmos is available on Amazon, through perichoresis.org, or in some bookstores.
