We believe that knowing Christ is a journey where we learn more each day we open our hearts to God’s call on our lives. As a church family, we participate in this work through study, prayer, and worship. Below is a list of offerings that touch on these three areas.
- E-Men Breakfast
Second Saturday of the Month at 8:00 am - Tres Magueyes on French & Third Streets in Temple. All men are invited to join us for breakfast, fellowship and devotional. Contact the church office for location.
- E-Men Social
Fourth Thursday of the month at 5:30pm – location determined each monthAll men are invited to join at the home of a fellow church member for some good ol’ fashion fellowship. This time is sacred time for men of the church to get to know one another on a deeper level.
- Exploring the Scriptures
Sundays at 9:15am in the church libraryThis is an alternative to The Forum that is a more in depth look at scripture with Dr. Jim Davis. Participants travel through the Old and New testament over the course of a year. No matter what your familiarity is to scripture this is a class that will meet everyone where they are.
- Midweek Bible Study
Wednesdays at 11:00am in the church libraryThis is a weekly study with Dr. Jim Davis, that explores different books of the Bible. We are currently studying the book of Genesis.
- Adult Acolytes
Being an acolyte isn't "just for the kids", it is a ministry to the church service that adults are more than welcome to take part in. An acolyte assists in worship by carrying a processional cross, lighting candles, holding the Gospel book, holding candles or "torches", assisting a deacon or priest set up and clean up at the altar, handing the offering plates to ushers, and many other tasks as seen fit by the priest. We are always looking for more acolytes!
- Supper Club
Every Third Friday or Saturday of the Month from 6:30-8:30 pmSupper club is a time of food and fellowship where you can get to know your church family in a relaxed setting in someone’s home.
